Cluster 3 Assessment Tasks - Overview & Instructions The assessment tasks in this document form part of the evidence requirements to demonstrate competence in the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Candidates are also required to satisfactorily complete all of the assessment tasks in clusters 1 & 2 and the TAE40122 Knowledge Questions Workbook to achieve the full TAE40122 qualification. To successfully complete all of the requirements to demonstrate competency in the following cluster 3 units: 1. TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation R1 (Core) 2. TAEASS412 Assess competence R1 (Core) 3. TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET sector R1 (Core) Candidates must complete all of the following assessment tasks to the required standard: Task 3.1 - Pre-use Assessment Tool Validation* Participate in the pre-use validation of three (3) assessment tools prior to use. Make recommendations for improvements. Task 3.2 - Assess Competence - RPL Pathway* Conduct Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment for one (1) candidate, addressing two (2) full Units of Competency (UoC). Task 3.3 - Assess Competence - Training & Assessment Pathway* Conduct assessment for two (2) training and assessment pathway candidates, addressing two (2) full Units of Competency (UoC) for each candidate. Task 3.4 - Post-use
