A coding manger conducted an internal audit of case in MS- DRG 195 Simple Pneumonia without an MCC/CC. There were 619 discharge in this MS-DRG in the previous ix month coded by one of five inpatient coder. Twenty -five charts were pulled at random and the coding reviewed with the result noted below.
