COLLAPSE An overhaul of the SHARP program needed to be revamped to assist sexual harassment/assault victims in reporting their incident, have a more streamline availability to resources, and to help the victim feel save and protected from their assailant. The SHARP program has two ways to report restricted or unrestricted. Restricted is a report that was filed that kept the name of the victim classified and the assailant's name was put into the catch a repeat offender, but this does not take the victim away from the assailant or protect them from any future incidents to happening to the victim. Unrestricted is when the victim and the assailants name were disclosed to the command team and the victim can be protected by receiving a transfer to a different unit. With the previous SHARP program, it was a challenge for victims to report their sexual harassment/assault because of how the program was tied to their chain of command and victims felt they cannot say anything because they didn't want anyone else in their unit to find out or rumors to be spread about them. It is also very difficult for victims to report because their assailant was someone of superior rank
