Group Presentation $1$: Communication Barriers $(10$ points$)$

Group Presentation $1$: Your team is responsible for completing a very important project for your

organization. Due to COVID$-19$ restrictions the project will need to be completed remotely. One of the

first steps your team has done to begin planning communications is to define various communication

barriers that may impact your project and your ability to manage it well.

Your project sponsor has asked you to present your findings to him on Feb $24$th $($I am your project

sponsor$).$

Presenting Your Findings:

You will need to provide a group presentation outlining the following:

$$ identify the communication barriers you think will impact your project $($use the four

communication barriers outlined in class as reference...feel free to add others barriers not

included in the class materials...note that "other" barriers will need to fall within one of the four

categories

$$ prioritize the categories from "most impactful" to "least impactful" and explain why you have

prioritized them in the manner you have chosen

$$ explain what you are planning to do in order to mitigate the impact the barriers may cause to

your project

Presentation Content and Length:

$$ Your presentation needs to be between $12-15$ minutes $($there will be a couple of minutes for

questions at the end$)$

$$ Your presentation needs to be in powerpoint and it needs to be submitted to me $($via

BrightSpace$)$ by end of day Feb $24$th

$$ All team members will need to present $($ensure the presentation is balanced as evenly as

possible$)$

$$ Ensure you list all team members in your powerpoint slide $($I need this in order to assign the

grades$)$
