Combinatorial Circuit:

How would I aproche this problem, I have to build a circuit that takes a 5 bit input (in complements 2's) and need to convert it into 7 bits BCD (-16 to 15) for 3 7 segment display.

First display the sign, positive its juste off and a negative number I would light up only the middle bar. then the two other 7 segment displays will show the decimal version on the input.

Its on a altera board but were not using code for this problem just a circuit.

ex: input 11111 (-1) would output 1111110 for the first diplay, 1111111 for the second display and 1001111 for the third display. 1's but the light off, 0's turn it on
