COMM$2202$: Procedure Assignment $(10\%)$Please review the Writing Procedures' section from the course textbook $($in Chapter $7)$ and Week $3\text{'}$s lecture file prior to completing this assignment. The textbook's section is short but provides valuable information in terms of applying the $3-$step writing process and content$/$technical writing requirements.Workplace instructions and procedures lay out the steps in plain, technical language to perform a task in an easy$-$to$-$follow chronological sequence. These documents provide the reader with guidance and helps companies perform to specific 'standards' $($see the 'Basic Steps to Lock Out' example procedure in Chapter $7).$ They are not creative or verbose $-$ they are concise and direct $($and parallel in terms of grammatical structure$)$Content Requirements$1.$ Choose something familiar to you $-$ a task you have performed yourself $($such as how to change a bike tire; how to add an APP to your iPhone, etc.$).$ As an alternative, you can choose to write a procedure for someone to perform a task on your behalf $-$ such as$,$ a work procedure $($maybe you're going on vacation and need to tell someone how to submit payroll$)$ or how to take care of your pet at home while you are away.The procedure must include:$1.$ A clear and descriptive title$2.$ A short but fully structured paragraph that communicates a general overview of the task $($remember$,$ a paragraph has at least $3$ full sentences$)\mathrm{.}3.$ A numbered list of at least $6$ and no more than $10$ steps that are highly detailed and descriptive $-$ in chronological order. Keep these between $2-3$ sentences MAX each$\mathrm{.}4.$ A closing statement or two to 'conclude' the procedure$\mathrm{.}5.$ At least one integrated illustration $($see lecture$).$ Introduce it before you show it $($See Figure $1)$; label it underneath it $($Figure $1$: name$)$; and add a citation$/$reference $($source$,$ year$)$ if you did not make it yourself. This is all covered in the lecture. Do not simply tack the illustration$/$picture on the end $-$ it needs to be 'integrated' where it makes sense $($within one of the steps$)$
