comment on this post below: From the Empathy Skills Assessment, I believe one of the most important traits for empathy is Statement #6, which states that I try to look at everybody's side of a disagreement before I make a decision. As a manager, you will be put in positions where you have to decide the best choice for your team. The description in the statement results shows that you, as a manager, should get everyone's opinion, including the lowest-level person on your team. Making it so everyone has a word will help to lessen the chance of disagreements that come along with change. Using my results I will work to incorporate into becoming more empathetic practicing my active listening skills and understanding my own biases (MSEd, 2022). Even though I think I listen to everyone and make sure I have an understanding of where a person is coming from I realize I do have biases. Now that I realize this I can work to put those biases aside which will help as a manager to make the best decision for my team
