Comment on this statements in first person in less than 300 words:The two reliable, credible electronic sources for evidence based practice (EBP) guidelines on type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) are the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Standards of Care in Diabetes and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines. These guidelines provide healthcare professionals with the most up to date recommendations for managing T2DM, but they differ in their grading methods and feasibility of implementation in clinical practice. Comparision of grading methods the ADA uses the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation) system. The categorization is as follows: strong evidence from well conducted randomizing controlled trials (RCTs) or systematic Reviews, moderate quality evidence from RCTs with some limitations or high quality observational studies, low quality evidence from case control or cohort studies, and expert consensus based on clinical experience when higher levels of evidence are unavailable (ADA, 2024). The NICE guidelines use a hierarchical grading system to assess the strength of evidence as follows: strong evidence from well conducted RCTs or systematic reviews, some limitations but generally reliable, observational studies with higher risk of bias, and evidence from expert opinion or case reports with minimal supporting data (NICE, 2022)
