The instruction sw performs the following operations: clears the PC concatenates part of the pc to part of the instruction reads only one register read two registers subtract two registers reads the data memory adds a register to the sign extended immediate writes the data memory Fetchs the instruction adds two registers computes and use the PC by adding the sign extended immediate by 4 to the PC+4 writes to one register
