Information systems provide a variety of services to businesses and organizations that deploy them. Often these systems provide data and/or are used for making decisions that will ultimately affect the organizations and all of the stakeholders (e.g. employees, customers, stock holders, etc.). Making well considered, informed choices is key to the continued success of these businesses and organizations.

This is also true for each of us. When you cant make up your mind, an organized approach to the problem might be in order. Whether you are making a career decision, selecting a new car, or wondering whether to take an extra course next semester, a decision worksheet can help you organize your thoughts and choose a course of action.

Step 1: For this activity you will get further practice with spreadsheet software and crate a template that will help with analysis of options you are considering to make some decision. To create the template, you will utilize the instructions in your book on pages 667-669.

Once you completed instructions 1 through 7 you will have a template populated with formulas like mine below. To see the formula view, you need to hold down the CTRL key and press the backtik ` above the tab key. To go back to regular view, toggle this key sequence again.
