Concept of sampling

Sampling is a term which is used to select a group of objects, people or items from larger size of population for the measurement. The sample should be the true representative of the whole population in all aspects to make sure that the generalized information collected from sample are actual information of whole population(Etikan & Bala, 2017). Methodology used to select sample depends on analysis requirements which is being going to be performed. It may be systematic sampling or random sampling depends upon the nature of requirement of the study. There are five main types of sampling, random sampling, systematic sampling, convenience sampling, cluster sampling and stratified sampling.

Concept of program evaluation

Program evaluation is a systematic process deals with delineating, obtaining, reporting and applying descriptive and judgmental information about the worth, merit, probity, safety, feasibility, equity and significance of the object (Stufflebeam & Coryn, 2014). The concept of program evaluation is comparatively new phenomenon. There are four phases from which the program evaluation process go through: planning, implementation, completion and reporting.

Steps involved in conducting survey

3. Selection of the target population as per the requirements of the study.
4. Use of appropriate data collection techniques like questionnaire or interview etc. which must be reliable but also time saver and cost effective.
5. Sample selection from given population, like a group of objects which have ability to represent whole population.
6. Designing of reliable data collection source, like the questionnaire cover all the aspects.
7. Data analysis, use of appropriate technique to process data for getting information.
8. Interpretation of results to help the policy makers or to solve problems to whom research being conducted.
