Consider a complex building in which there is a $3-$storey basement carpark $(12000$ m$2,3$ floors @$5$m$($H$))$ and $25$ floors @$4$m$($H$)$ of hotel above $(30$ guest rooms per floor along two perpendicular straight corridor without window openings$).$ The basement carpark is required to install with a mechanical smoke extraction system, while the guest room floors with the staircase$($s$)$ should be installed with a staircase pressurization system and the internal means of escape with smoke extraction system.

Students may freely develop a building plan that can roughly represent this building design.

Based on the building configuration, develop a draft scheme of the staircase pressurization system and smoke extraction systems using the standards and requirements as given in the COP FSI. A very rough estimation of the capacity of the system will be required.
