Consider a database that records the information about the employees in a company. The information includes for instance, the employee name, social insurance number (SIN), date of birth (DOB), and the department ID (DID) in which she/he works. The database also records information about the supervisors and their subordinate.

That is, each employee has a supervisor to whom she/he reports. A subordinate is an employee working under a supervisor. Draw an E/R diagram to represent thedata modeled in the database. Convert this diagram into a relational database schema.

For each entity or relationship set in the model (design), determine which attribute(s) form the key. State assumptions you made (if any) in justifying your data model.
