As a logistics manager there are several ways to reduce cost associated with an organization's logistical procedures. Transportation, as this can occur a great deal of cost within a company. Having an automated process will reduces costs as this will streamline operations while allowing a more manageable system, also improving efficiency with faster order processing. This will Streamline operations while saving the organization time, creating the ability to focus on other functions. With warehousing cost, reducing unused space by optimizing all available storage options, while protecting inventory from damage, due to theft and even loss from miss categorization. I will also use Inventory management software that will assist in generating higher productivity levels, reducing strain on processing, all so aged and dead stock. While increasing customer service, with labor improve training, also improving shift scheduling. Implement KPI standards with incentives for performance. (Prologis,2022)

Improving the organizations reverse logistics will also play a major role in reducing cost and waste. Repairing, and reselling damaged goods. Improving return policy, improved durable packaging, also increase recycling capabilities will play a major role in reducing waste and cost. (Jenkins,2021)
