Investment banking plays an important role in the business world because it can add liquidity to markets which can promote business growth and strengthen the economy. It plays a key role in capital markets by adding stock and making more capital available to the economy. I think because of the importance of investment banking to the economy it should be tightly regulated. Regulations can help protect the companies and individuals from making uniformed decisions and prevent against financial fraud. The risks can be high when investment banking, so the measures taken before should be carefully made."
