Research Scenario: As part of their study on the relation between rejection and depression in adolescents (Nolan, Flynn, & Garber, 2003), researchers collected data on externalizing behaviors (e.g., acting out in negative ways, such as causing fights), anxiety, gender, and age. Some of the data are presented below (you would need a larger sample size but this is for practice only).
