part two of our three-part Project Report assignment. The objective has been to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is currently transforming and will further impact the role and function of management in the present and near future.

Part 2: Develop Your Arguments

This is the second of three parts of your research project. Following the instructions below to complete.

After completing Step 1 of this project, having a good idea of how AI is impacting the role and function of management and you should be closer to having a list of potential benefits and challenges to the evolution of the role and function of management.

1. Making a list of the 5-10 potential benefits and 3-5 challenges that you discovered in your research.
2. Then, decide which 5 benefits and which 3 challenges you want to focus on in your research report.
3. This is a research-heavy project so you should aim to have 3-5 reliable sources for each benefit and challenge. Yes, some may utilize the same resource, but it is expected that you have a minimum of 10 sources that you cite in your research paper.
4. Researching each benefit or challenge one at a time and an outline of benefits and challenges with 3-5 supporting arguments and resources for each. For instance, if I found that one benefit of AI was that it would allow managers to focus on human resources more than basic administrative tasks, then my outline might look like this:
   1. Benefit: AI allows managers to focus more on human resources by performing administrative tasks
      1. Supporting Argument #1: AI will likely handle many administrative tasks such as scheduling, calendar coordination, and coordinating resources [link to supporting resource]
      2. Supporting Argument #2: Business Journal states, "AI is the managers' best tool for productivity" because it gives them more time to focus on human capital [link to supporting resource]
