Course Project The course Project involves a complete study of an existing business. Your study will include the following that will all go into the paper that you will submit; this description will also serve as a guide to what you are expected to do: (1) Introduction: An introduction to the business, history, and current status (2) Business Model: A clear description of the business model, qualifying and winning features of its products (physical or services) (3) Operational Strategy: Its operational strategy (how does it operate its business model, its approaches(s) to demand fulfillment, quality management, customer satisfaction, marketing and R&D) (4) Analysis and Assessment of Overall Performance: Its current state of success or failure or stagnancy with evidence for the status as you so describe; your analysis and explanation of the status. You can use graphs, data-analytical procedures, etc. to lend credibility to your findings. (6) Recommendation: What would you like to recommend to the management; you will need to add solid arguments to support your suggestions, so be careful in this respect. (7) Conclusions; You briefly outline the scope and limitations of your study and include what you learned from this study with special reference to Operations Management, and how you would design your operations if you were to be the CEO of that company. (8) References; list of references you used if any. (9) Appendices; you can include data and other analytical work that you might have used for your analysis. The front page of your project submission will have the format that I will provide. Use of graphs and pictures is allowed ONLY if the graph and pictures contribute useful information, and are not used to increase the number of pages.
