Create 4 operational definitions for any process you would like (have fun with it). You are aiming to create a definition that will allow a team with little to no experience with your process to measure it. Remember the pen example, how do we all measure it the same and produce the same results repeatedly. We will have our team independently read them and attempt to create the measurement, see how well they do based on your descriptions! 1. What tools would you use to create a complete baseline of the process? 2. What is the element (or output) of them you would use to brief the decision-makers? For example, how would you brief PCE or a process map? Feel free to give examples (they can be completely made up)
