Create a developmental action plan for yourself, using the Developmental Planning Process.

Select one leader trait or competency --use this trait as the focal point of your Developmental Action Plan.

• The analysis should describe the "why" for you with the development of your leadership trait.
• Action should be an action statement with a measurable objective--Improve my team building skills with my core unit of employees.
• Process:This should possibly be a step-by-step procedure towards improvement with a designated time frame such as 1 month, 3 months, etc.
• Measurement:This should state very specifically how your action was accomplished--align it with the process to determine success.
• Resources--what you needed to complete the improvement--professional development, videos, etc.
