For Assignment 4, take a look at the attached PowerPoint, (including the notes), and create a high level process map of a process that you are involved in at work, in an organization you belong to, or at home. A diamond, identifies a decision point. These are usually control points, and key controls are the ones you want to test in your audits, and the ones you want to monitor and measure for management. Begin with a narrative or the process. Complete a SIPOC, a top down chart of the process, a value-add matrix. Most importantly, create a simple map of the process using symbols like those identified in the PowerPoint at the level 3 sub-process and identify at least one control point. Update your narrative with any new information you discovered by mapping the process. You can use any software you wish to map the process. (Visio if you have it, or Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MsPaint, etc). You can even freehand the process map and scan it in. As long the process map is readable, I will not take points off for the sizing or the symbols or using the wrong ones. This can be a fun assignment as long as you don't get too stressed out about it. Key deliverables due: 1. Narrative 2. SIPOC 3. Top Down Chart 4. Process Map 5. Value-Add matrix
