the pilot certificate identification number digits along with their grade which can be Student,
Private, Commercial, and Airline Transport. The system should track landing currency for trainees
ie the date and time of all landings performed. The system should also track the medical
examination history of trainees including the date on which it was performed and the class of
medical. Medical examination classes can be; i First class; ii Second class; and ii Third class. The
system should also track the history of flight review activity performed by the trainees.
The system should also log similar information for fight instructors. In addition to this, the system
should also store instructor certificate information which includes the instructor certificate
identification number digits followed by the letters CFI expiration date, and grade. Instructor
grades can be: i Certified Filght Instructor CFI; ii Certified Flight Instructor Instrument CFII; and
ii Multi Engine instructor MEl
The system should authenticate users based on their university credentials. Once authenticated,
trainees and instructors are shown different dashboards.
Trainees are shown information pertaining to their current cumulative flight time, the courses they
are presently enrolled in their history of maneuvers completed along with the associated grade and
notes for each maneuver.
Instructors are shown a list of their current courses and lessons, as well as a list of their current
trainees, Instructors should be able to view personal information of a trainee as well as their current
qualifications. Instructors should be able to view current enrolment of each trainee as well as a
history of maneuvers completed and associated grades and notes. Instructors should be able to
generate reports about each trainee containing the aforementioned information.
The system should also restrict access to information such that trainees may only view their own
personal and training information. Instructors are able to view their personal and flighttraining
information, as well as that of their trainees. Instructors may not view personal and flight information
of other instructors. Administrators have accass to all records stored in the TFO system.
The system should be accassible via web browser from mobile devicas, tablets, as well as
computers.
