Question: Create a revised scorecard (you will create an actual BSC by revising what was given in in the Case Study document and discuss the changes).
- Create a revised scorecard (you will create an actual BSC by revising what was given in in the Case Study document and discuss the changes).
- Create a revised BSC: You may find that in some categories you remove some of the given measures, whereas in other categories you may choose to add to the measures that were given in the proposed scorecard.
Necessary items to include:
- Be sure to have at least 1 measure in each of the 4 BSC Categories (Learning and Growth, Internal Business Processes, Customer, and Financial).
- Ensure that each measure on the revised BSC is specific and measurable Dont just say improve Customer Satisfaction, instead you could set the measure as Customer Satisfaction Survey with 10% improvement as compared to the prior year. Other examples of specific goals could include things like: Yearly Revenue within 5% of $25M Goal, Growth in Free Cash Flow of 10% as compared to the prior year, etc
- Determine at what level each metric will be measured (Individual level, Project level, Company level).
- Ensure that there is at least one suggested measure for every goal as noted in the given case. These are the companys goals the five bulleted items on page 2 of the case.
Below is an example of one possible way to set up your scorecard to ensure you cover the required items:
This is an example only and shows the first measure in my Customer Measures section (this is not the only measure in my Customer Measures section). You may choose to keep, remove or add to the measures as given in the original scorecard; as you can see below, I choose to keep the first suggested measure of Customer Satisfaction Ratings. This is just my example, provided to show a way to make sure your BSC includes the required items.

| The satisfaction of customers leads to growth in revenue. |
- Discuss the changes you made between the given BSC and your revised version: Explain how the changes you made to the BSC take into account your research from requirement 1, issues noted in 2 and shortcomings noted in 3.
