Question:
Create a simulated network environment in Packet Tracer.
This environment shall meet the following requirements.
• Hardware Components o (3) PCs o (1) Server o (3) Routers o (1) Ethernet switch
• Configuration Comments o Each device should have a unique but intuitive name.
o (2) PCs will be directly connected to the Ethernet switch and will be in a unique IP Address space.
o Each router will have its own unique IP address space as well as the necessary interfaces, properly configured, for connection to other devices as needed. o The Ethernet switch will be directly connected to only (1) router
o (1) PC will be directly connected to a router that is NOT directly connected to the Ethernet switch or the sever.
o The server will be connected to a router that is only connected other routers.
o The routers will be connected directly to each other router in the network and will be configured in such a way that the loss of connectivity between any two routers will not disrupt connectivity from any pc to the server or to any other pc on the network.
o Each router or switch will have encrypted passwords and will be accessible via terminal emulation software via tcp/ip from any of the PCs or server.
▪ Each connectivity device will carry a banner message to discourage unauthorized access
o Each device, host, interface, or other Ethernet connection will have a statically assigned IP address appropriate to its network segment.
• Required deliverables o Relevant Packet Tracer file
o Spread sheet inventory of the IP address scheme
▪ All passwords linked to each device o A document that describes how your project meets each of the listed criteria.
▪ For example, if there a particular routing protocol you used to accomplish some criteria, you should list it and indicate why it was selected and how it was used.
***The issue is that I have done it twice and I cannot get it to connect to each other.***
