Create a Wordle:

Choose one of these Learning & Development methods from this weeks reading in Workplace Learning and Development [Chapter 4, Part 2]:

Reflective Journaling

Secondments

Shadowing

Temporary Promotion.

For the method you have chosen, create a Wordle that:

1. Identifies the method

2. Defines the method

3. Presents its chief benefits

Remember to use the Wordle tools (repetition, tying words together, using fonts and layout) to develop the final product that best meets the above criteria.

Follow the directions there to create your Wordle generating word clouds from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes (from www.wordle.net).

Once you have your Wordle the way you want it, click on Print. Then in the Print Box, choose PDF or Save to File. Save your file to your course folder or a location where you can find it easily - with this naming structure: LastNameFirstInitial_OLDR6800_Wordle_Disc3 (DoeJ_OLDR6800_Wordle_Disc3).

Then post your Wordle as an attachment to your discussion post. In the body of your post!

1) BE SURE TO WRITE a description of the L&D method you chose and how you represented the required criteria in your Wordle.

2) Finally, based on your knowledge of professional setting, share what you believe to be the best application(s) for the method you have chosen.
