Create an Entity relationship model for the scenario:
Car Dealership
You are going to design an information system for a car dealership. The dealership sells new and used cars and operates a service facility. Base your design on the following business rules:
A salesperson may sell many cars, but only one salesperson sells each car.
A customer may buy many cars, but only one customer purchases each car.
A salesperson writes multiple invoices for each car they sell. Finally, one of the invoices will change into a contract.
The customer can buy a membership for services. There are two types of membership available: Gold and Silver. Silver membership card is free on any contract but not the gold membership.
Customer can use their membership for any cars they have, whether they buy it from this dealership or not. The customer can buy the membership separately (no need to buy the car from the dealer on any car)
A customer may come in to have their car serviced; that is, a customer does not need to buy a car to be classified as a customer.
The car dealership maintains a service history for each of the cars serviced. The cars plate number references the service records.
Old cars should be inspected before accepting by the dealership. If the result of the inspection (which is only a type of service with its own cost) could be: 1) accepted, 2) accepted but need repairs, 3) rejected. It might need to change some parts or extra services to get ready for sale (option 2). The owner(seller) should pay all the costs. It could be paid right after the repairs and services or reduced when the car is sold. This bill is pretty similar to the bill they issue for any vehicles coming for service.
Both silver and gold members have free annual checkups.
Gold members have a 10 percent discount for any services (but not when they change a damage part)
A serviced car may or may not need parts (e.g., adjusting a carburetor or cleaning a fuel injector nozzle does not require providing new parts).
The annual free service package for the memberships can include different services every year.
All the services and parts have fixed prices each year, which can change yearly.
After all the services, a bill will include the cost of parts and services together.
