Create an ER-diagram to model a database that contains information about researchers, academic institutions, and collaborations between researchers.
A researcher can be employed as a professor or as a laboratory assistant. There are three types of professors: assistant, associate, and full professors.
The following must be stored:
- For each institution, its name, country, and year of establishment.
- For each institution, the names of its schools (e.g., Law School, Business School, etc.). A school belongs to exactly one institution.
- For each researcher, their name, year of birth, and current position (if any).
- For each researcher, information about their highest degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD)
- For each researcher, information about which research projects (title, start and end date, amount of grant money) they are involved in and if he/she is the principal investigator.
- We also need to keep track about co-authorships, i.e., which researchers have participated in a research project.
