Create an on-line business that doesn't currently exist. You can choose to provide any type of product or service; it can be B2C or B2B but not both. It is not required that you come up with a business that is a new idea or invention, but one that you will make your own. Who is your target market? Be specific (e.g. Home Depot, not "big box hardware stores") Market Research Do some preliminary secondary research and answer the following: Why do you think there is a market for what you are offering? (Cite any research that supports your view). What other similar e-commerce sites are out there from which you can learn? Who do you view as your primary competition? What differentiates you from your potential competitors? Provide at least two examples of your potential competitors and how you will be different. (i.e. Compare and contrast). Submission Requirements Your submission must be submitted in WORD. PDFs will not be accepted. Your submission must be no fewer than 900 words and no greater than 1100 words. It must be formatted in accordance with APA guidelines It must include the following: cover page, table of contents, executive summary, body, bibliography, and other appendices. The report should be formatted for 8 x11 paper with 1" margins, double spaced,12-point font. Appendices are discouraged. However, if you deem them necessary, they must be referenced within the project and must be relevant. Appendices are not included as fulfillment of the word-count requirement. The complete bibliography will reference all work of other individuals, textbooks, journals, websites, interviews, and proprietary documents.
