This involves the daily task of our certified technicians, ensuring they are working efficiently with minimum lag time between car fixes. A consistent workflow from customer to front desk staff to the technicians will ensure the most efficient output. The technicians are not customer-facing. We also must ensure that the number of vehicles in the shop is not exceeding capacity and that there is no car waiting in the queue for more than a day.

- There are 2 stations for quick fixes and check engine light (CEL) diagnosis
- There are 7 stations to handle all other repairs
- As soon as a car is either repaired, inspected, CEL diagnosed, or needs parts, it is moved out of the station and the next car will be moved in
Auto Repair Shop 1 1. PROPOSAL Description: Our business is a local auto repair shop that provides services to customers in the University City area of Philadelphia. Our services will be available to anyone in need of auto repairs. In addition, our shop will also serve as a state inspections station. Our business is located near two college campuses: Drexel University and University of Pennsylvania. Our target customers will be college students and faculty members. We will provide certain auto repairs at a discounted price to those customers. Our Auto Repair Shop follows state guidelines for vehicle inspections, which includes a safety and emissions test. A list of our repair services includes standard maintenance, engine, exhaust, heating/ air conditioner, electrical, transmission, emissions, tires, and more. We have ASE certified technicians and the latest diagnostic tools for a variety of vehicle repairs. Have a check engine light on? Customers can bring their car in for a free diagnostic check. Appointments are preferred, but we will accept walk-ins for certain repairs that are considered "quick fixes". Customers may call us or come into our shop to speak with a front desk staff to determine appointment availability. We will always be in communication with our customers. If a car repair takes longer than a day, they will be informed in advance. We have a partnership with a local car rental agency. If repairs take more than a day, a rental car can be provided to the customers We will also work directly with auto parts and accessories stores in the area to ensure parts are in stock. Some parts may not be available in the local stores and may require shipping from places outside the area.
