Create TWO causal scenarios. Start with the cause and create the situations for each. You will want to focus on cause(s) and solution(s). Be creative and have fun with this! Here is an example for you:

"Remember when that annoying light came on while you were driving home last night? Turns out it really did serve a purposeto tell you one of your tires was low.

Unfortunately, you ignored the warning light. Unfortunately, you missed class because of your flat tire this morning. Because you missed class, you failed a quiz.

This is a perfect example of cause and effect.

The problem: Another light appeared on your dashboard.

The cause: Low air pressure in a tire.

This almost works as an outline to write an essay. You are going to create two scenarios like this, but you do NOT need to write the essays. Outline the causes, the effects, or both the causesandeffects of TWO different problems or issues. In 1-2 paragraphs each (or set each up like the example above), create TWO cause and effect scenarios with steps. Be creative and have fun with this!
