Instructions:

Start Excel. Open the workbook SC_EEX_8-2.xlx, which is located in the Data Files. The workbook you open contains an order entry sheet for a restaurant supply company. You are to create a PivotTable and PivotChart from the Order Database.

PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

1. Save the workbook as SC_EX_8_Restaurant SupplyComplete. Select cell A3 and then click the PivotTable button (Insert tab/Table group) to display the Create PivotTable dialog box. Make sure New Worksheet is selected and then click OK.

2.Drag the Order Num and Description fields from the "Choose fields to add to report" area to the Rows area to add the fields to the PivotTable.

3. Drag the Amount field from the "Choose field to add to report" area to the Values area to add the sum of the Amount field to the PivotTable.

4.Drag the Order Date field from the "Choose fields to add the report" area to the Filters area.
