Creating a team base culture involves making sure the team has established norms. Norms help team members feel safe to express their ideas. Once norms are established then team members that are not following the norms can be checked by addressing the norms regularly. Effective teams have a clear purpose, the purpose and goal of the team should be clear, this helps for the team to remain focused. Promoting individuals that should be promoted helps to show team members what good can come from hard work and good team dynamics. Another thing that I can do as a leader is mirror how a leader should act in a team. Being an example of how leaders should act in a team helps to grow the team. These are some of the things that I can do to help establish a team based culture.
