Critically assess, with reference to case law, statutes, recent developments in the law of England and Wales, and academic opinions the extent to which the following factors impact an individual's claim to asylum in this country. Critically analyse whether these factors should have an impact on an asylum claim, or whether considering these factors amounts to a breach of infividuals' Article 14 rights (right to not be discriminated against).

Factors to examine:

- Vulnerability

- Detention

- Country of Origin

- Risk of Immediate Danger

- Availability of Resources and Capacity of the Government

- Gender and Sexual Orientation (with reference to Suella Braverman's recent statement)

Each factor should be at least 150 wrds long. Include cases and what was held in them for each factor, as well as what academics have said.

With regards to the academics, provide what they argue and a quote that they have written about, and reference their work that they discuss their arguments in.
