DELIVERABLE $2-$ USER REQUIREMENTS AND UML

DIAGRAMS

This deliverable refers to the Phase $2-$ Systems Analysis. To complete this deliverable, you will need to study Chapters $4-6$ from your notes$/$ book.

Chapter $4$ focuses on the requirements engineering process. This includes system requirements, team$-$based techniques, gathering requirements through interviews and other methods, gathering requirements in agile projects, representing requirements, validating and verifying requirements, and requirements tools.

Chapter $5$ focuses on data and process modeling techniques that analysts use to show how the system transforms data into useful information. This includes logical versus physical models, data flow diagrams and symbols, drawing data flow diagrams, drawing context diagrams, drawing diagram $0$ DFDs$,$ drawing lower$-$level DFDs$,$ data dictionaries, and process descriptions.

Chapter $6$ focuses on object modeling techniques that analysts use to create a logical model. This includes object$-$oriented analysis, objects, attributes, methods, messages, classes, relationships among objects and classes, the Unified Modeling Language $($UML$),$ and tools.

The deliverable is broken down in three sections $(A-C)$ as shown below.

A$.$ Requirement's elicitation techniques

Describe which requirements elicitation technique or techniques you would follow to extract the requirements for the system of your selection. State why you have selected the particular method$($s$)$ and what is the added value to the requirements gathering process for your topic.

B$.$ Data and Process modelling $($DFDs$)$

Draw a Context diagram and a diagram $0$ data flow diagram for your system.

Draw a decision table and decision tree for your system to show the conditions, actions and rules of your system.

C$.$ Visual representation of user requirements

Draw one or more $($if needed$)$ UML use case diagrams

Draw an activity diagram showing the actions and events involved in your system
