CURRICULUM INSTRUCTIONAL PROJECT

You submit a lesson plan and a power point voice over presentation with your group. The focus of your lesson plan is an activity (Problem solving) that helps to achieve the objective of teaching a certain content. Basically you will do the following:

• Plan an activity with a word problem for development of a concept that is aligned with your lesson plan
• Find a secondary math or science word problem for the activity that students will work on.
• Describe the purpose of presenting this activity for students including TEKS or CCSS etc
• List objectives what contents would you want your students to learn from it
• Use four different types of problem-solving strategies you learned in this course to teach students, most importantly describe how would you guide your students in the problem solving process that help them to develop the content and the problem solving strategies.
• The lesson plan should be a word document, and the presentation should be a Power point or something similar with voice over presentation
