dad Max is out for a walk with his five-year-old daughter Jasmine on weekdays, and they are on their way to the city to do some shopping on sale. Jasmine brings with her her Christmas present that she received from her cool aunt Gun-Britt. Jasmine is extremely happy with her slingshot and now has it on the walk down to the city to test it on cones, chestnuts and other fun she finds along the way. When little Jasmine and Dad Max are waiting for a green man at a pedestrian crossing, Jasmine sees her chance to test her slingshot with a little sniper. She picks up a large cone and aims and shoots at a passing car. The driver becomes frightened and turns, and crashes into the car in the lane next to it. The crash scares the crap out of a cyclist who is also on the road, who rides straight into a lamppost, and on the coup overturns a pedestrian. Ojojoj, says Jasmine. Dad Max looks in horror at the scene of the accident in front of him. How should this go now? Investigate a) -c) with support in law. a) The pedestrian gets up and luckily has only minor injuries to one arm and some damage to the clothes. But he is angry! Can the pedestrian direct his claim for damages against the cyclist and if so, what can he base his claim on? b) The cyclist has a concussion and in addition his bicycle breaks down. To whom can he direct his claim for damages and on what should he base his claim? c) Both motorists have received collision damage to the cars and some scratches in the paint. They're really upset.
