Data description: This data measures the quantity of potato beetles collected in pitfall traps placed in potato fields that differed based on the composition of the nearest field border to where they were placed (natural vegetation, another crop field, or ditch). 5 pitfall traps were placed in each field, in a transect 15 m from the field border. A total of 15 fields were sampled, 5 of each border type. All pitfall traps were deployed for one week, then collected. Following collection, the total number of potato beetles per trap was recorded. For this study, assume that each field was independent, each field was a minimum of 5 km apart. 1.
