The checks are prepared in Microsoft Excel. They are designed to be printed on check forms. The check forms are made of special paper. They have the bank name, account number, routing numbers, and other information already printed on them. (You will actually print on plain paper.) In Excel, you enter the information that varies with each check. Note that the first check in the file is a sample.
