Data: "get_to_know_you_survey.csv" contains data from the beginning of term "Get To Know You Survey". Every semester, students enrolled in STAT 1124 are invited to participate in a voluntary and anonymous online survey by email and by announcement during the first lecture. Between Fall 2020 and Fall 2022, n=231 students have responded. Data Dictionary: "survey_data_dictionary.pdf" lists the variables in the survey dataset and their definitions. R Code: "a3_helper_code.R" has some pre-written code to get your started, but you will still have to write some code on your own. Relationships between two quantitative variables We will use respondents from the current term (Spring 2022) to explore the relationship between social media usage in hours per day (social_per_day) and grade in percent that students predicted they would get in the course at the beginning of the term (predict_grade).
