Database Managment
Please label the ER Diagram below. The ER diagram describes an airline company. Each airline owns different aircraft models and for each model aircrafts of different capacity. Depending on the length of the route and classification (into domestic or international) the aircraft are assigned to different routes. You will find the necessary labels in the word blank below. You just need to put them in the proper place. (You may use the words more than once, if necessary)
Employee, Aircraft, ReliesOn, Has, Model, TimeTable, Destination, Name, Birthday, URL, Transaction, Address, Origin, Assign, Date, Description, Route, ID, Airline
Some details about the airline:
a) Airlines depend on transactions, i.e. people making reservations to fly on the airline.
Each airline has many transactions and each transaction can involve several airlines, e.g. a reservation that requires a combination of individual flights from different airlines. Each transaction is fairly complex and hence requires a detailed description.
b) Obviously, an airline has several employees such as ticket agents, mechanics, pilots, flight attendants, and ground crew. Some of these employees, such as ground crew, can work for more than one airline.
d) Each flight of an airline involves a particular aircraft flying a particular route. The flights are listed in a timetable. For convenient listing in reservation programs, the airline, the aircraft flying a particular route, and the route itself have distinct identifiers.
