David has just received a marked assignment back from his lecturer with copious red notations throughout. He is furious and is ranting to his friends about how unfair the lecturer has been in giving him a failing grade and how ruthless she was in picking up every little flaw. He is also angry because the lecturer has said that she will accept a revised version and that means that he will have to do more work but still probably only get a pass, if he is lucky.
