When the Hersey Blanchard Situational Leadership Model was initially introduced many found it controversial for it seemed to claim that Leaders should treat different Subordinates differently. Some would say the model would cause Leaders to be inconsistent in their behavior or with their Leadership Style.

Explain why some would make this claim. Describe how the model does, or does not, cause inconsistent Leader Behavior. How would the model say one should choose a Leadership Style?
