Complementary and alternative medicine is a diverse group of therapies, products, and medical treatments that include (among other treatments) prayer, vitamins, natural herb products, meditation, yoga, massage, homeopathic medicines, and acupuncture.

Directions:

-Create and example or case of a patient undergoing CAM treatment;

-After engage with the material and critically revising the current scientific literature, you need to choose one CAM approach to be used in this patient (provide supporting reference).

-Post on the discussion forum um slide presentation, describing (2 points):

-The patient characteristics;

-The CAM approach used;

-The supporting references;
