Thanks for your email. Unfortunately, the Hamilton Bridge project has been problematic.
Yes, we are a month behind and probably can't finish up until at least December. One reason is that our crew is splitting time between this project and a building they are working on downtown. This is slowing things down and also tiring the crew, which is why they are not working as quickly. Another issue is getting approvals from all the layers on site. It seems like even a simple screw needs to be approved by three people! Finally, communication is a mess down here. For example, the engineers and ironworkers can't get on the same page.
In regards to the budget, that has been an issue as well. Here are two primary examples:
We need more supplies than originally estimated since the engineers keep making changes.
