Delegate group assignment tasks for Units 3 & 4 among group members (determined in Unit 2) for the analysis and preparation of materials based on the following checklist: Business assessment: capital expenditure, equity and debt, and credit rating Business assessment: operating and maintenance costs Business assessment: impact on energy costs and customer rates Business assessment: customer service Technical assessment: energy and capacity, intermittency Technical assessment: reliability, resilience to natural disasters Regulatory assessment: permitting at all levels of government Impact assessment: economic, including economic diversification and government taxation Impact assessment: social, including communities and Indigenous engagement Impact assessment: environmental, including greenhouse gases Establish evaluative criteria for analyzing the initiative based on the required readings and the aforementioned checklist with categories of analysis. Collaborate on the preparation of an outline for the business and environmental impact assessment based on the criteria and the requirements of at least two regulatory bodies with the jurisdiction (e.g., utility commission and provincial environmental assessment office)
