Applying this criterion helps me understand deliverables when compared to the broad spectrum of work performed on a project. An "Information Management Policy" is an example of a deliverable for one of my personal projects for improving knowledge management at my organization. The "IM Policy" is unique in the fact it did not exist before, it is verifiable by the fact it will be drafted, signed, and distributed, and finally it is required because it is an essential piece of the project as it will delineate responsibilities and methods used for overhauling the knowledge management practices
