On Wednesday next week, we will begin with a short case study (I will give you the data at the beginning of class) and spend about 1 hour preparing, presenting, and discussing that case. The Case Assignment for next time is based on the data set I posted for our last class called \"highschool.xls\" which contains information on the following variables: IQ (ranges 1-4 with 1=low and 4 high), encourage (1=parents encouraged college, 0=they did not), SES (1=low SES through 4=high SES), College (1=yes they went to college, 0=no they did not), and then the count for each of those categories. The idea is to explain the effects of the predictor variables on the outcome \"college.\" Each team should prepare a one paragraph executive summary for this case (to be turned in at the beginning of class) and a presentation for the case. We will use the first hour of class to hear presentations and debrief and then we will use the last 3 hours of class for the cumulative final evaluation. 4.
