Describe a specific instance of a failed policy implementation at your own organization or one with which you are familiar. A failed policy can take many forms (i.e. timeline exceeded, wasnt fully adopted within the culture of the firm, resistance, etc.). Consider the possible reasons for the policy failure. Were the primary drivers of the failure due to hard factors (lack of infrastructure or resources) or soft factors (entrenched mindsets and attitudes)? What could have been done differently to avoid some of the challenges that youve described?
