  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

Prepare an individual research paper that addresses the following:

1. Select an Operations Management field or discipline that holds interest to you either as a means of advancing your current career or as a means for transitioning yourself into a new skill area.

2. Research the certification options available to professionals in that field or discipline.

3. Your paper should include:

1. Subject matter areas covered

2. Certification requirements education, practicum/project, etc.

3. Time requirements and/or a schedule to completion

4. Study methods available books, courses, online, etc.

5. Cost to achieve certification

6. Description of how achieving this certification would improve your career and/or opportunities. What would the value of achieving the certification be to you?

7. Map out a project plan to achieve your certification.

Your paper should be three to five pages long, with 1-inch margins, using an 11 pt. standard font. Be sure to provide citations for any resources you used in your research.
