Currently they use an older Local Area Network with computers connected to the local server in each location. They use MS Access database for their Patients and Physicians data. Their Patients registration is done via manual forms that get filled out at the reception desk. Credit cards, checks or cash payments are also handled at the reception area. No information sharing among the 5 clinics is available under the current system, except via phone, which puts Patients' privacy and HIPAA compliance at risk. Their Financial and Payroll processing are done via Quicken software, which does not have an integrated approach for all the 5 existing locations, or for the possible new locations, which are being planned for next year. Their HR processes and manuals are not computerized at all. Their Website is also outdated and not interactive.

They need to be more modern, and cloud-based to utilize new technologies and processes that integrate all the current and future clinics' information processing needs. This should include access to online forms, and reports, as well as capabilities to create business analytics/ reports, and to protect privacy, security and HIPAA compliance regulations.
